Helping you feel safe at Nirvana Spa
Due to the inclement weather our Spa Garden is currently closed, we will review the situation regularly and hope to reopen the facility as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.
We want all our customers to enjoy their spa visits so all vouchers have been extended to the 31st December 2022.
We know you may have many questions before your next spa visit, so we have provided some key information on what you can expect when we reopen our doors. This page will be updated as we evolve our safety measures in line with government guidelines.
Social distancing is a top priority and we have lowered the levels of occupancy in the spa to ensure everyone is able to keep a safe distance from each other. With this in mind, during our first phase of opening we will be prioritising our members. We are fortunate that our wonderful facilities are spaced over a wide area and we are confident that we will be able to accommodate you; but to help us manage social distancing we will be asking you to book your visits in advance.
To minimise contact at reception, we are launching a new online booking system for all member bookings for both Nirvana Spa and Nirvana Fitness. Please also reserve your dining, Rasul and Floatation experiences ahead of your visit using the forms on our website.
We have made changes to our reception areas and check-in and check-out process to reduce contact where possible. We would like to encourage our full members to use our Members (front) entrance and for our occasional members to use the Day Spa (back) entrance. Where possible, please use your card to swipe through the barriers. We have installed perspex screens for protection in key areas through which our team will offer a friendly welcome. We would prefer all purchases to be charged to your membership account but if you would like to settle your bill before leaving, please make a contactless card payment.
We would appreciate your support to ensure that social distancing can be maintained in changing areas. We have removed some locker keys to help you maintain space around you, if a changing room is busy please use alternative facilities or wait for an appropriate time to change.
We recommend bringing your own towels and robes, however they can still be hired; to minimise contact, please place used towels and robes as directed in the changing rooms.
We will be reopening in phases; during the first phase we hope to have all spa facilities available for you to enjoy, however our Treatment Suite and Wellness Suite will remain closed.
We have spaced our loungers throughout all areas of the spa to facilitate social distancing and in the Tepidarium we have removed some beds from use to ensure you have space around you. We kindly ask you to observe the new usage guidelines which can be found on signs next to each facility. For your protection, we have increased the chlorine levels in all pools and introduced chlorine into the floatation pools. We have also adjusted our air flow systems to increase the percentage of fresh air circulating. Please also note that we have removed all non-essential items from around the spa including swim floats and tester products.
To facilitate social distancing, please could all members book their workout sessions using our online portal. Throughout Nirvana Fitness, we have implemented a number of measures to provide a safe environment for your training. Alternate cardio equipment has been switched off to give you extra space to enjoy your workout and we have increased the availability of disinfectant cleaning products for you to wipe down all equipment before and after use. Unfortunately group exercise classes will not be available during the first phase of opening. We would also like customers to bring their own personal equipment such as gloves for use in the Combat Cube. The Crèche will not reopen in phase 1.
Our Spa Restaurant will be serving a delicious, seasonal a la carte menu and we will be offering poolside refreshments, unfortunately we will not be offering the Salad Bar buffet. All food and beverage will be offered in compliance with the Government guidelines with staff wearing the appropriate PPE and menus available online and on boards only. We would kindly request that you make your dining reservations in advance of your visit and prepare to order other refreshments from your lounger. All items should be charged to your membership account.
All staff have received enhanced COVID-19 training, they are all on board and understand what is required of them to safely run our spa and fitness facilities. In addition our managers have received COVID-19 updated first aid training. All staff will all be provided with appropriate PPE.
We have invested in new equipment to deliver enhanced protection anti-viral products. Our housekeeping team will follow new, safe cleaning and sanitation processes across all areas and they will be especially vigilant around areas that are commonly touched. In addition we have increased availability of disinfectant cleaning products, we politely ask that you help us and your fellow members by using these products to wipe down all equipment after use.
In line with new Government guidelines we have installed hand sanitation stations located across both Nirvana Spa and Nirvana Fitness. Please could you also wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water at regular intervals.

We ask anyone who is concerned that they may be developing Covid-19 symptoms to follow the Government advice, and self-isolate in the first instance. If you have a new continuous cough, high temperature or any other symptoms associated with Coronavirus or have been advised to self-quarantine, please do not visit the spa and contact our reservations team by email to reschedule your visit.
