Nirvana Spa is all about water – water for your pleasure, relaxation and therapy
From the chilled bottle on the Spa restaurant table to the 20 fabulous water features, Nirvana Spa’s water all comes from the same pristine source.
The water at Nirvana Spa is drawn from deep beneath the spa. It began it’s journey as rainfall in the Chiltern Hills and has gradually filtered its way down to the chalk aquifer below us. as you can imagine this water is completely free from pollutants and is packs with essential minerals picked up from geological formations along the way.
Of course, taking nothing for granted, we have our own specially designed state-of-the art treatment system to guarantee every drop of water you come into contact with here at Nirvana Spa is pristine. Even our pool water has been passed as safe to drink.
We have two deep water wells, called boreholes, that reach down more than 120 metres into the earth. Every day we pump water up and pass it through our filtration plant. Initially we use sand filters. Sand is one of the most natural and best ways of filtering water of any impurities. Straight afterwards, it passes through carbon filters three metres high!
But we do not stop there. This fresh, clean water is then passed through an Ultra Violet Light system. UV is a fantastic way to disinfect water.
At this stage, the pure filtered water is sent in three directions: to the spa water features and pools, to the spa showers or to the drinking water filtration and UV system. We double filter at this stage so it is more than good enough to drink, then we bottle it.
The Roman Pool is all about relaxed swimming in purest waters. If you really want to spoil yourself you can have your drinks brought right to your lounger while you pore over today’s news or your favourite magazine.
