I gave an honest account when the therapist asked …..the winter has taken its toll; my complexion is pale with telling patches of dry and sensitive skin.
Dehydrated skin is both ageing and dulling. Fortunately the Hydracure facial promised to be the remedy I needed to rejuvenate my skin and leave it dewy and divine.
Swaddled on a heated bed, the warm pindas and the soothing facial massage were both sleep inducing and the perfect antidote to the winter blues.
By contrast my skin was treated to cool, invigorating products. A thorough cleanse was followed by an invigorating scrub with a bright eucalyptus scent. The mask was exceptionally cool and rich, I felt sure it was delivering the promised big dose of moisture to quench my thirsty skin!
The combination of warm and comforting and cool and exhilarating was hypnotic and I did drift off!
The final result was a little unexpected, I was not experiencing the dreamy state I thought synonymous with a facial…. I was walking out refreshed, revitalised, skin beaming and ready to go.
