1. It’s fair to say that our minds have been overwhelmed by events in the news and by our own worries recently.  Practising mindfulness in a quiet space can provide a much-needed balm for our over-stimulated brains.  Lie back on a gently warming mosaic stone lounger in the candle-lit peace of the Tepidarium and work on your breathing using the Headspace app.  Or try a ‘Daily Calm’ session to refocus your thoughts using the Calm app.
2. Between home schooling, zoom calls, box sets and endless baking, you might have forgotten the simple joy of listening to a great podcast. We asked our staff to recommend their favourites to unwind to, while reclining on a lounger by The Roman Pool. Their top picks were ‘Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place’ for profound interviews with inspiring people; ‘TED Talks Daily’ for thought-provoking ideas covering every topic under the sun.   And for some light relief, ‘That Peter Crouch Podcast’ for humorous anecdotes on everything football!

3. Bring your favourite blanket to feel cosy and snug in the Spa Garden while you sip a warming cup of coffee to start your day. Among the potted palms, stone statues, heated pools and outdoor pergolas, you’ll wonder if you’ve been transported to the Mediterranean.  (with the occasional hint of British weather!).

4. After a year-long pampering drought, you deserve to indulge yourself in our Crystal Treatment Suite . We’re thrilled to be able to offer our full menu of treatments to members from the moment we reopen the spa doors. Rest assured that every treatment we offer is fully in line with Government safety guidelines.  To celebrate reopening, we’ve added some new treatments (link) to the menu that will de-stress and relax you after this difficult period.

5. For many of us, working from home has meant adapting areas of our houses into mini offices, almost overnight. Kitchen chairs and make-shift desks may have left you feeling stiff or suffering from painful joints.  Our state-of-the-art Dead Sea Salt Therapy pool will allow you to work out these kinks and niggles, blissfully emersed in warm salt water.  The pool is a spacious, healing and supportive environment.  There’s no need to pre-book and we’re offering FREE access to all members.
